The Log Pile was started to put some culture back into the competitive surf scene at Folly Beach. Our goal is to highlight the local talent our beaches nurture, work with the coolest local brands, give out some cash, have some killer after parties, and most importantly — heckle our competitors from the comfort of our commentary booth.

For the past two years we've been set up at The Washout. This year, we made a huge stride: Log Pile 3 is heading to the Folly Beach Pier — the first sanctioned surf contest at the pier in well over a decade. And man, we're gonna make sure it's a damn good time.
